When traveling for business or pleasure, watching travel expenses can be important. Two expenses come to mind that are typically the most expensive aspects of any trip, lodging and meals. Getting a little creative can often times save money while traveling. One example would be staying at Extended Stay Motels with a large group or family. This will allow you to prepare your own meals rather than eating every meal out at a restaurant. We all know how expensive “eating out” can be.
Another good example of an excellent way to save substantial amounts of cash while traveling is to consider staying at “Cheap Motels”, rather than a luxury hotel. The difference in “room rates” can be pretty substantial, and often times “Cheap Motels” can be quite nice to stay at. It’s not hard at all either to find luxury entertainment at most motels, even it they are inexpensive, such as swimming pools, workout facilities and other desirable amenities to enjoy with your stay.
One word of advice about “Cheap Motels” would be to do your homework before booking a room. We have all heard or seen some pretty scary cheap motels in our time. With todays technology and travel websites such as “Trip Advisor”, it’s easy to learn about the various hotels and motels in all travel destinations. Often times you will be able to see actual photos of the motels, their rooms, and their accommodations, before ever setting foot in one. You will also probably want to read the reviews written by previous travelers to gain insight in to the motel’s service, cleanliness, safety conditions and so-on. This information can be invaluable.
As time go on we will be going through cheap hotels and cheap motels in every state and some of the most populated cities. So please come back often.
